Tactical Tech has lead four 'guru gatherings'. Guru gatherings are designed to bring together a select number of leading practitioners from across the world to share experiences and drive forward the development of solutions and collaboration in relation to a particular technology issue. These gatherings have taken place focusing on:

• Wireless
• Refurbished computers
• Open Source

Additionally two regional meetings have been organised, these are:

• FOSS meeting in Brazil, and
• Pre Arab Source meeting in Syria
