Message in-a-box: it's new and improved!

A new second edition of Tactical Tech's Message-in-a-box has been released this week. It includes updated software alongside new information and case studies. 2,000 copies of the toolkit have been printed and are ready for distribution. The website has also been updated with this content.
Message in-a-box gives you everything you need to make and distribute your own media. It covers print, images, audio, internet and video. Each chapter includes information, references, links and inspiring case studies that show how the right tools and tactics can be used to make media with impact. The DVD and the website also link to open source software tools as well as video and text ‘how-to’ guides.
New content in this second edition of Message in-a-box includes a number of inspiring case studies. The updated video case studies section, for example, highlights successful video campaigns from Video Volunteers, Greenpeace and Amnesty. The new image case studies demonstrate how powerful messages can be conveyed using effective visualisations.
There is also an entirely new chapter included in this second edition of Message in-a-box. A Strategy for making media, will help you to develop a strategic plan to make media as part of your rights advocacy.
All of these changes were made in response to feedback from users of Message in-a-box. If you have used this toolkit, give us your feedback here. If you would like to read what rights advocates say about Message in-a-box you can do this here.
